Is there any way to create a pseudo shared printer on Windows that will take a standard PS print job from Linux clients and pipe them to the “real” printer via some intermediate filter? Sign up or log in Eppson up using Google. The track you are on seems reasonable. For the scanner, I found I have to use Debian, for Ubuntu. You will have to do it manually if you want double-sided printouts.

Thanks Gilles, but gee that’s so complicated. The dummy printer accepts PS jobs from Linux clients and then filters them through Ghostscript before feeding them to the physical printer using the native Windows GDI driver.
